Podcasts are becoming more and more popular. Just when we were all complaining about talk radio. Maybe it’s the fact that you can find some more suited to your likes and have the ability to pick and chose. But also still listen to the radio if you want. I often get asked for some recommendations. So I’m sharing my top 9.
Knowing Faith is seriously my favorite. It’s part of The Village Church podcast line up. Jen Wilkin, JT English and Kyle Worley discuss all sort of topics. They somehow are respectful and gracious through conversations that are causing uproar elsewhere.
The Bible Project
The Bible Project is not just a podcast. The website and videos include videos to help you understand scripture.
Help Me Teach The Bible
Help Me Teach the Bible is a podcast from The Gospel Coalition. Many great teachers and authors discuss all types of topics.
Go and Tell Gals
Go and Tell Gals is new. Jess Connolly is in my top 5 authors/teachers ever. She’s on fire for God and encourages all women on their journey to glorify God and run on mission.
Journeywomen holds a special place in my heart as Hunter is a military wife. Her love of the gospel and encouraging women/mamas is contagious.
Who That’s Good
Who That’s Good is Sadie Robertson’s new podcast. And her first interview was Bob Goff. Together those 2 have so much energy and fire.
That Sounds Fun
That Sounds Fun is Annie Downs and Annie is awesome. She’s real and funny and loves God.
The Happy Hour
The Happy Hour with Jamie Ivey is handsdown a needed podcast. Jamie is amazing and her book If You Only Knew is one of my favorites from this year. It’s truly wonderful and all women need to read it.
Risen Motherhood…you haven’t listened to this yet? Please go remedy that NOW. I don’t even have a favorite episode, I love them all. If you’re a mom, then you’ll appreciate what Emily and Laura have to offer. They are wise and humble. They are encouraging and challenging. They are the mom friends that you want and need.
Podcasts are a big part of life. When I do laundry and dishes, I’ll listen to learn or just zone out. They’ve been great for car rides also!
