January Fav Finds // Updating Things

So many fun and new things because it’s January!

First thing I’m loving is having my Wacom Tablet set up again and taking a little online course to figure it out more! I’m enjoying using my own handwriting for things. I got to try some different brush, etc but no worries….no handlettering for me. I remember why I stopped attempting calligraphy years ago. It’s a great tool and I’m glad to use it more.

January brings that whole new year, new things concept. I really don’t like getting rid of things just to add something new but sometimes updates need to happen. So here we find ourselves updating wardrobes, interiors, and my most favorite….outdoor spaces.

It’s a new year and everyone’s been working on those get fit resolutions. Right? I think I might be the only person around not doing Whole30. And it’s not that I can’t cut out all the things, it’s that I don’t want to. I could write a whole essay on why not. But I am however down 6lbs and 1 pant size so I’m going to keep on keeping on. And in the mean time I’m going to add in some wardrobe choices. Not everyone of these items is coming to my house but a lot of them will be delivered soon. I know that some people are still living their days in snowsuits, but hopefully that weather is over for us. Spring fever is real and running over at our house.

There’s dresses, tops, bottoms.

So then there’s all the home stuff. Obviously, everyone loves Target & Heart & Hand. But there’s a few other things in here that I love also. Our kitchen and living area are where everyone spends time so I want that to be an enjoyable space. I also need a rug in front of the sink/stove areas because I stand there a lot!

And because I just want to spend all of our summer outside in our yard, I’m dreaming of all the possibilities. I can’t wait to just sit and watch the boys play while I read or garden or tend to chickens. Do I sound like I’m way older than 30?
