Kids Night In Box // Under The Sea

September 6, 2018

What is a Night In Box?

Kids Night in Box is a monthly subscription box service that offers a complete at home experience.  Each box is filled with all the things you’ll need (minus food) to have a super fun family night. Night In Boxes offers a Date Night In or Kids Night In Box with a regular box option as well as a faith-based option and subscriptions start at $42 per month, with discounts for quarterly, semi-annual, and annual subscriptions. Shipping is free within the US!

Our Box

This month our Kids Night In Box was themed Under the Sea. I failed to plan ahead and do the recipes but the weather was dreary and I busted the box open thinking it would be a great evening activity since we’d be stuck inside for what seemed like days!

Activities

The sea life yoga was probably the favorite part for my kids because we have done it a bunch. It was silly and led to giggles and family snuggles.

The sticker fun worked out better than the seahorse painting, but that’t because of the mess. They painted their seahorses, it just didn’t look anything like the instructions and some tails were ripped. The sticker pages were giant! I cut the stickers in half and the instructions were simple….don’t fight! This was about 10 minutes of fun.

The boys loved the masks and we’ve been playing with them for a week. The additional faith option gave us a small booklet and this image to cut out so we could act out the story. The kids were really into it and now they’ve asked to repeat it over and over!Under the Sea // Kids Night in Box Review
