Lacey & Alex – Baton Rouge Engagement Session
It’s not often that I find something with my name on it, much less spelled the same. To my surprise, I received a wedding inquiry for a bride sharing my name. After some emails and hearing about her wedding details, I knew that she was THE perfect bride! I was (and still am) so excited about her wedding.
Lacey and Alex will be wed in the spring. But first….engagement portraits must be taken. We explored his parents’ backyard finding all sorts of great picture spots. It was nice to be outside of the city and in a yard! There were a few mosquitos as all good Louisiana photo sessions have. I might have even startled Alex when I popped his arm to save him from a GIANT mosquito. My mom taught me well. :o)
After exploring where he grew up, we headed for the LSU campus. Campus is so nice to return to. It’s not as great when you have to walk a mile to class in 10 minutes in the heat…across campus! But during our session, the beauty of Louisiana State University shone through. I was so excited with the light, the surroundings, and the beautiful couple in front of my lens.
I can’t wait to capture your wedding. Congrats to you, Lacey and Alex, on your engagement!!!
