4Moms Review : RockaRoo & MamaRoo
If you have a new baby, are expecting a baby, know someone you’d like to gift something nice….look to 4Moms. We found their systems at the Baby Grand at the Women’s Hospital. We were jealous that they didn’t make this in adult sizes because we were getting relaxed and sleepy just watching the unit run.
We registered for the rockaRoo and received it as a gift. It was amazing. Until there was a glitch in the system. I wouldn’t work completely. I was heartbroken. I contacted their customer service and a new unit was sent to us right away. A few days later it arrived and I hurried to unpack it, put it together, and put N into it. The speeds wouldn’t change. Something was wrong with it. Did we register for a bad product? I had never heard anyone complain so I called the company right away to see what we could do.
WOW…amazing customer service. The lady on the phone was so nice and understanding. She offered us the MamaRoo. I had seen the mamaRoo…we really wanted it but didn’t want to ask for or pay extra for the upgrade. What a wonderful company to offer that. Love good customer service!
I was amazed. This thing looked like the most amazing rocker/swing system for a baby. AND IT IS! It arrived at our house Monday morning. It’s so easy to put together. Less than 10 steps and it’s almost self explanatory. A few pictures in the instructions and it was ready to get used. Within minutes of putting it together I placed baby in it and turned it on. He yawned within seconds and was fast asleep right away.
rockaRoo – Instead of swinging, your baby rocks. With 5 speeds and a place to plug in your phone….your baby will sleep.
mamaRoo – Car ride, kangaroo, tree swing, rock a bye, and ocean are the 5 movements that it makes. All movements are similar to the movements you make as you comfort your baby. It has nature sounds and the ability to plug in your phone. The other nice thing about this unit is that the seat is adjustable. Our baby likes to sit up sometimes and it seems to work when he isn’t ready to be asleep but just needing some comfort or entertainment.
The covers on both units come in plush or classic. Both are machine washable. We went with the plush because it is a little softer and would seem more comfortable.
I would recommend both the rockaRoo and mamaRoo to anyone. Yes, we had an issue with the rockaRoo but I don’t think it’s something that is across the board. I think it was just our situation. The mamaRoo is great.
