When the gallery is “supposed” to include a number of pictures but I fail. I failed to narrow them down so the gallery contained so many more. Isn’t he the cutest? I want to squeeze him! This family is precious and I’m so glad I got to capture them!

Thinking on what God has done in my life it’s ea Thinking on what God has done in my life it’s easy to see the negatives. Those are the moments that define us, right? I disagree. God defines me. Not what school I went to, what job I had, the dreams that changed, the friends that left, the baby that God took, nor the size of my hips. God used those moments to sanctify me. But he also used marriage and motherhood and friendship and a million other moments. There’s been plenty of times when I allowed worldly things to define me but it’s all a lie. If I could tell 24yo me something it would be.... -love him for everything he is. There’s plenty of things he could pick apart about you, he never does that. Love him for all that he is. -just because you made a friend at church, that doesn’t automatically mean you have the same values or that they will be a true friend (same goes for conferences, ministry, etc) -call your grandmother -breathe deeper. Sit still. Let things go. -if the world considers you a fool....laugh about it -learn what God says and hold everything up to it. Every single thing. -pride will ruin your life. Surrender it to God -the Sovereign creator and ruler defines you. Live life pleasing Him.
We cannot pick and chose what part of the Bible is We cannot pick and chose what part of the Bible is for us. The bible is written for the glory of God and that includes our lives. About God & for us. Sure there are tough parts. There are confusing parts. There are loving parts. There are scary parts (Hello...there’s the murder of Jesus, persecution of believers, and the results of not having eternal life!) It is all purposeful. “All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work." [2 Timothy 3:16-17] ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ We cannot add. We cannot delete. God's word doesn't need our human deceitful hearts trying to shape His sovereignty. "I warn everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: if anyone adds to them, God will add to him the plagues described in this book, and if anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God will take away his share in the tree of life and in the holy city, which are described in this book." [Revelation 22:18-19]

Making disciples isn’t a checklist task. It’s Making disciples isn’t a checklist task. It’s not measured by followers. And to be honest, being discipled by someone is way more than following their social media platform. Jesus had 12 disciples - well let’s omit one of them- 11 disciples. He had his closest ones too. He didn’t have a blue checks or swipe up access. And knowing today’s culture, He might never have “achieved” those things. Share the gospel - In your home, your community, your circles. Share it online. Discern the truth - with everything. Inspire and encourage people to hold everything up to scripture - including your own words. Dig into scripture together. Learn what God says. Glorify Him. Praise Him. Worship Him. Creator > creation
