Gardening with Kids // Books to Teach

August 23, 2017

Gardening with your kids can be frustrating and fun! It’s so cute to see a three year old point out fruit and vegetables that are ripe enough to pick. He is proud of all his harvests and wants to show them off AND have you smell every flower and pepper. There’s quite a few books to help explain and teach kids about gardening. So far these 4 are my favorites. EBR Library has great options along with Usborne. The Usborne books are some of our favorite books ever!

  1. Eating the Alphabet
  2. Counting in the Garden
  3. Food (There’s some other Usborne books that are also amazing!)
  4. Caterpillar Dreams

My kids are obsessed with books. We read all day. Like all.day.long! Luckily I have a great husband who will continue to read before bedtime when the boys ask for more books.
