Mama & Littles // God Planted a Garden
Finally! A new study. Sorry it’s taken so long, but life. And if I’m honest…me believing some enemy lies of not being good enough, qualified, and all those things. But we’re here. This is my favorite study so far. We’re going to dive into Genesis, but not the initial first days. Catch up on Genesis 1 and then join me in Genesis 2!
Activities
Family Plan // An easy start for some conversations!
Draw the Garden Scene // Included in the printable study is a place for kids (and you) to draw how they really imagine the garden to be.
Name the Animals // Kids love imagining things like this. Have your children make up names for the animals. Just like God entrusted Adam to do.
Pretend Play // Use the pretend food and talk about the differences and how God created them. Colors, shapes, sizes, different characteristics, where/how they are grown. So much conversations to be had!
Scripture Memory // Learn the scripture. Even if it’s just one verse.
Garden Labels // Use popsicle sticks to create labels for your garden.
Plant Seeds // Grow flowers, vegetables, or herbs. Plant some seeds and watch God’s miracles before your eyes!
