Chapter Books for Boys (& Girls)

July 31, 2024

There are many books filling the shelves of libraries and the pages of searching on Amazon. But not all books are equal. It’s not just that we want our kids reading, we want them reading quality literature. Whoever said as long as their reading hasn’t done much research on what’s available for kids.

Chapter books for kids seem to be one of the most requested recommendations. I sometimes still struggle with finding chapter books for our boys. We do enjoy searching the older series at the library (like Hardy Boys) but not everyone loves these books. Personally, I recognize that newer literature is written in a more modern style so the words and vocabulary aren’t as challenging. Depending on your views, that can be either good or bad.
