Favorite Bible Studies
There are approximately 1 million bible study options. Actually, I’m not sure about that but however many there are, it’s a lot. You can walk into a christian book store and easily be overwhelmed at not knowing where to start. So many options. Topical or not? Women or co-ed? Which bible translation? No one wants to spend some money and then feel like it’s wasted because they didn’t enjoy or even finish the study.

Studies
Seamless by Angie Smith // If only I would have started my Bible studying with this study. It’s a very easy to comprehend overview of the Bible as the whole story. I would recommend this study to anyone! It might be pink but I think male or female at any point in their faith walk could really grow and learn from this study. Angie is also pretty funny and so real throughout this journey. I appreciate the maps and key icons. It’s simple and easy!!!
No Other Gods by Kelly Minter // Dig deep. Face some truths. Let her words push you on your journey. Kelly writes in a way that is easy to understand and very truthful. This is another study that would be beneficial to anyone in their faith walk.
Dance Stand Run by Jess Connolly // Jess is a fabulous writer and teacher. I started on the Dance Stand Run book launch team and then a study was released. This book and study will get you fired up. It will encourage you but keep you focused on truth.
Armor of God by Priscilla Shirer // In 2018, we need to know how to put on the armor of God and Priscilla is the lady to teach us about it. If you’ve never heard her speak, go watch a video. She’s a powerhouse!
Jen Wilkin
It’s no secret that Jen is my favorite author. Her ability to encourage and fire you up about learning the Bible is truly amazing. “The heart cannot love what the mind does not know.” So we’ve gotta know it. Her books and studies are phenomenal. If I had to pick a favorite it would be Women of the Word and I think every woman should read this book. The more we learn about God the more we understand. His character isn’t like ours and we can’t know how to model Him or be more like Christ until we investigate and learn the beauty of how He is different from us. She’s written multiple books and countless studies. You can even get some free on her website.
But don’t think that she’s going to make it all butterflies and roses. Nope. It’s truth and sometimes biblical truth is hard.
I hope you can find a favorite or at least something to inspire you to get into the Word and grow in your relationship with God.
