January Books // Lacey Reads

January 29, 2018

Last year I read a lot and I’m hoping to keep up with that momentum but I’m honestly starting a little slow. Mostly because I’ve been doing some gardening research and wrapping up some other stuff but I’ve still been reading.

Affiliate links used, y’all. At no cost to you, but if you shop through them I make a couple of cents. Seriously, cents!

Nothing to Prove by Jennie Allen // We did the study Proven for our moms group last fall and I enjoyed it but I personally like the book much better! It’s a great read and I’d recommend it to any woman, especially moms!

Humble Roots by Hannah Anderson // I’m not 100% done but this may be one of the best books I’ve ever read. Just read it! The BR library has it!

A Simplified Life by Emily Ley // I love Emily’s writing and how she puts you at ease. Reading her words feels like chatting with a friend. No judgement, just sweet advice. This is an easy read which can put some extra ideas into your brain about how to simplify areas in your life.

For February, I already have some books requested from the library. Hopefully I turn the tv off more and pick up books instead! What have you been reading this month?? Anything to recommend??
