Instant Pot Easy to Peel Boiled Eggs

March 26, 2018

Have trouble with peeling eggs? Generally it’s easier if you get store bought eggs because those are probably 30-45 days old already. Older eggs peel easier. But fresh eggs are another story. I’ve busted and broken many eggs peeling them because the shell just won’t separate from the whites after boiling.

Enter the Instant Pot.

6 minutes (plus the time to pressurize) and you’ve got the EASIEST to peel boiled eggs ever!

This is life changing for me because we’ve got fresh eggs. So now once a week I can easily have boiled eggs prepped. My whole family will eat them as a snack or a side, plus potato salad or deviled eggs are quick!

*I would not recommend this for eggs that you might dye. The shell is brittle after and sometimes they are already cracked when you get them out of the Instant Pot.
